Muay Thai legend Saenchai was back in action at Thai Fight Ubon Ratchathani, looking to keep his 10-year undefeated streak intact. The action went down at Sunee Tower in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand.

Looking to end Saenchai’s epic streak was Morocco’s Hicham Boulahri. Saenchai was in complete control of this fight from the opening bell. He worked his jab and low kicks. When he got in close, he delivered knees to the body. In the third round, Saenchai dropped Boulahri with a series of punches. The legend was never in trouble, and it seemed that Boulahri was simply happy to be in the ring with the legend. In the end, Saenchai took home the win by decision.

Lion Moolanithi Thammanat Prompao and Mohamed Atlas squared off in the co-main event. Lion and Atlas both came out swinging to kick off the fight. The fight was even going into the second round, but midway through, a left from Lion connected and dropped Atlas. In the third round, the fight took an odd turn when Lion opened a nice-sized cut over Atlas’s right eye and stopped attacking. Instead, he easily avoided Atlas’s attacks and eventually stopped fighting while the ref was signaling for him to continue. The ref eventually had the doctor look at the cut, and the fight was stopped, and Lion was awarded the TKO win.

Thai Fight has announced its fight card for Thai Fight Ubon Ratchathani, which takes place on February 16, 2025, at Sunee Tower in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand.

The legendary Saenchai will be heading the event. The Thai superstar has been on a tear over the past 10 years, going 76-0-1. Looking to hand him his first loss in over a decade is Morocco’s Hicham Boulahri. It is difficult to imagine Saenchai losing as he has looked dominant in his Thai Fight run over the last couple of years. If Boulahri wins this fight, it will be the upset heard around the Muay Thai world.

Also on the card will be PTT Apichart Farm, taking on Brazil’s Anderson Santiago and Kheewpetch Kiatpraison, taking on France’s Fabio Loisi.

Thai Fight League 63 took place today at World Siam Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, and it was a knockout fest. Only one of the fights went the distance, with the rest ending in KO or TKO. The main event featured Petcheak Pachara Gym vs. Govan Khalid Sabir.

The main event ended in a TKO, but not like anyone would have expected. Govan came out firing leg kicks, which Petcheak absorbed and seemed unbothered. In the second round, Petcheak started to time Govan’s kicks and caught several of them, but each time he would catch a kick Govan would drop to the floor. Eventually Govan kicked the lead leg of Petcheak and hurt his own leg, which forced the fight to be stopped by the referee.

Ploypanlan Gumpun Muaythai made quick work of Yassine Haouari in the co-main event. Yassine came out aggressive, but Ploypanlan started to counter effectively. He then got more aggressive and knocked him down with a knee, which Yassine protested, but not long after, a left hook floored Yassin,e and the bout was over.

El Mahdi Tissir scored a knockout over Chalarmdam Sor. Samantarathburin with a flurry of punches. From the start, Tissir came out looking to push the pace and connected with nice combinations. Chalarmdam tried to match his pace, but Tissir was on point before eventually overwhelming Chalarmdam to score the first-round finish.

Thai Fight League 62 took place today at World Siam Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The main event and co-event delivered some spectacular knockouts.

In the main event, 22-year-old Yodpayak Numthonthep was taking on 33-year-old Kiatpetch Suan-Arhan Peekmai. The younger Yodpayak wanted to make a statement against Kiatpetch, but age beat youth in this one. The fight started fairly even, with both fighters looking to pick their shots and feel their opponent out a bit. Kiatpetch began trying to land his left high kick, which would eventually pay off when he connected flush with one that shut Yodpayak’s lights out. It was a beautiful first-round knockout for Kiatpetch.

In the co-main event, Petchluecha Chor. Haphayuk was a man on a mission against Saman Moradi. He came out looking focused and, early in the first round, dropped Moradi with a strong left punch. After Moradi beat the count, he went on the offensive as Petchluecha tried to close in on him to finish the fight. Eventually, another left from Petchluecha put Moradi down, and the referee had seen enough after he stood up on wobbly legs. Petchluecha put on an excellent performance in securing the first-round knockout.

Saencahi returns to action at Thai Fight. The Muay Thai legend has been on an impressive run over the past 10 years. He hasn’t lost in 77 fights and is looking to make it 78 at Thai Fight: Ubon Ratchathani.

Saenchai, along with Nong-O Chor. Hapayuk, Daophrae Mackemiphan, Klausek Sor. Rattanapol and several other Thai Fight regulars will be in action on February 16, 2025. No matchups have been made official, but Thai Fight has confirmed the fighters will be in action.

Saenchai, arguably considered the GOAT of Muay Thai, has not tasted defeat in 10 years, but a draw keeps his 77-fight unbeaten streak from being perfect. In 2023, he had a draw with Italy’s Alessio Malatesta at Thai Fight Rome.

Seanchai was last in action in December of 2024 at Thai Fight Phayao, where he picked up a unanimous decision win over Iran’s Abbas Takaloo. The win secured him the 2024 154lb King’s Cup Title.

Saenchai is fresh off a KO win over Alession D’Angelo at Thai Fight: Shaolin. He is currently on a seven fight win streak, with his last two wins coming by KO.

François is one of France’s more recognized fighters. His a WPMF and ISKA champion. The bout with Saenchai will be the biggest of his career, he has been in the ring with some good Thai fighters in his career, but none the caliber of Saenchai. Francois is fight veteran with over 50 fights to his name, although it does not seem like much when compared to the 300 plus fights Saenchai has to his name.
