Thai Fight League 63 took place today at World Siam Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, and it was a knockout fest. Only one of the fights went the distance, with the rest ending in KO or TKO. The main event featured Petcheak Pachara Gym vs. Govan Khalid Sabir.
The main event ended in a TKO, but not like anyone would have expected. Govan came out firing leg kicks, which Petcheak absorbed and seemed unbothered. In the second round, Petcheak started to time Govan’s kicks and caught several of them, but each time he would catch a kick Govan would drop to the floor. Eventually Govan kicked the lead leg of Petcheak and hurt his own leg, which forced the fight to be stopped by the referee.
Ploypanlan Gumpun Muaythai made quick work of Yassine Haouari in the co-main event. Yassine came out aggressive, but Ploypanlan started to counter effectively. He then got more aggressive and knocked him down with a knee, which Yassine protested, but not long after, a left hook floored Yassin,e and the bout was over.
El Mahdi Tissir scored a knockout over Chalarmdam Sor. Samantarathburin with a flurry of punches. From the start, Tissir came out looking to push the pace and connected with nice combinations. Chalarmdam tried to match his pace, but Tissir was on point before eventually overwhelming Chalarmdam to score the first-round finish.
