
ONE Friday Fights 94 delivered Muay Thai action from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The main event featured Azerbaijani striker Akif Guluzada taking on Thailand’s Puengluang Baanramba, and this one did not disappoint.
The 19-year-old Akif Guluzada was looking to punch his ticket to the ONE Championship world stage and earn a $100,000 contract. He made sure to leave no doubts in this fight. He pressed Puengluang early, and in the second round, when Puengluang tried to match his aggression, Akif countered with a picture-perfect spinning elbow that put Puengluang down for the count. It was an impressive win for the 19-year-old, and he is one to watch.
Pichitchai PK Saenchai took home a unanimous decision win over Petpairin Sor Jor Tongprachin in the co-main event. Pichitchai scored a knockdown in the second round with an elbow, and despite Petpairin’s attempts to rally, Pichitchai stayed ahead for the duration of the bout.
