ONE Friday Fights 93 at Lumpinee Stadium featured non-stop Muay Thai action. In the night’s main event, Lebanon’s 18-year-old phenom Ramadan Ondash faced a tough test Kongchai Chanaidonmueang.
Ondash, known for his aggressive style, had a calmer and more methodical approach to start this fight, but when the second round came, the Ramadan Ondash of old showed up. He eventually caught Kongchai with a left hook and sent him down to the canvas. In the third round, it was apparent that Konchai needed to secure a knockout to win the fight, but Ondash remained composed and didn’t allow Konchai to mount any significant offense. Ondash got the judges’s nod, securing the win by unanimous decision.
In the night’s co-main event, Turkey’s Soner Sen survived a late rally from Worapon Sor Dechapan. Sen had success early, even scoring a knockdown in the second round. Sensing he needed a stoppage to win, Worapon turned things up in the third round and had Sen in trouble. He scored a knockdown of his own in the third round, but it was too little too late as Sen was able to hold on to take home the unanimous decision win on the scorecards.
