WATCH: Alistair Overeem Looks Like Halloween Version of Himself at UFC 225

Alistair Overeem had a really rough night at UFC 225 as he was yet again demolished by another heavyweight prospect…

It seems former K-1, Strikeforce and DREAM champion Alistair Overeem’s glory days are truly behind him. UFC 225 saw the Dutch kickboxer matched with another hard-hitting heavyweight in Curtis Blaydes, in a fight that was tough to call prior to last night.

Although Blaydes is 11 years younger than Overeem, the former NCAA wrestler was facing a far more experienced and seasoned striker. There was a time that ‘The Demolition Man’ was hailed as having the best striking in all MMA.

Few expected The Reem to come out of last night’s bout looking like this:

Blaydes simply had Overeem too worried about getting taken down. As you’ll see in the video below, The Reem was gunshy the whole fight, by the time the third round came, the Dutchman was already a beaten man.

Only a finish would secure a win for Overeem by that point, but it was Blaydes who would score a gruesome ending.

Watch as Blaydes busts Overeem open for a nasty elbow finish in round three:
