Khabib Responds To ‘Tap Machine’ Conor McGregor

It seems the rivalry is far from over between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor. They have been back and forth since their bout in October of 2018, where McGregor tapped out in the fourth round against the Russian champ. Since then the two haven’t stopped going at each other.

McGregor has four submission losses on his record and they seem to be the centre of any insult that is thrown at the Irish Ex Champ-Champ. McGregor has been up to his usual antics, messaging people online and baiting reactions from them..

What McGregor wrote in his Instagram post last night:

The same thing I said to khabib at the end of round 3. My round. Don’t be b*tching! Every single round b*tching to the referee. He was even bitching in the fourth round from mount position. It baffled me.

“Don’t be b*tching.” Common knowledge I would think for a fighting man.
Don’t be a b*tch, b*tching.”

Khabib clapped back today with something that will cut deep, especially for someone with pride like McGregor. In the build-up to their fight, there were verbal jabs thrown everywhere. McGregor took it deep with his comments and Khabib showed up in their bout.

“Shame”

Being the person that Khabib is, he is very serious about his fighting career. Being raised in Dagestan and always under a strict training schedule from his father. Pride and shame is something very close to Khabib.

Which is why this message to McGregor holds a deeper meaning than many could comprehend. Take a look.

“You will live with this shame all your life”… Ouch.

The idea of tapping out is forcing your opponent through so much torture that they cannot withstand it any longer. Words Khabib will live by. To someone like McGregor, this is a hard-hitting statement.

McGregor mentioned Khabib’s family in the build-up to their fight, where shame and pride stand strong. Making this statement go deep into the roots of McGregor and his bloodline. Effectively Khabib has said McGregor should be ashamed for tapping out and not enduring the punishment Khabib was putting him through.

Without a doubt, this beef will not end until the rematch takes place, something that Dana has said he thinks will happen in 2019. Unless Ferguson takes that fight. Who you got? Khabib or McGregor?
