Khabib Asks Dana White To Legalize Steroids In The UFC

Khabib Nurmagomedov forces the tap from Conor McGregor before launching over the octagon fence and starting a near-riot at UFC 229

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s status as undisputed UFC lightweight champion has come with quite the anti-promotion image. Currently suspended by the NSAC as he awaits his hearing for the UFC 229 brawl, “The Eagle” has been trolling Dana White…

The MMA world experienced some seriously crazy moments in 2018 but UFC 229 was probably the craziest. For months the UFC had promoted their biggest star Conor McGregor’s return against the current champ Khabib Nurmagomedov.

As usual, the Irishman was brutal with his trash talk, according to some he had crossed the lines at times. His infamous bus attack before UFC 223 was featured heavily in the lead-up to UFC 229.

The fight that followed the hype saw Khabib dominate McGregor before forcing the tap in the fourth round. After his victory, “The Eagle” took flight for McGregor’s teammate and chaos reigned.

It was arguably the craziest night in MMA history as Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated Conor McGregor then cannon balled into the crowd at UFC 229. It was weird, wonderful, controversial and ugly…

Khabib Continues To Troll

Another week, another pay-per-view incoming, and another period of turmoil for the UFC. This time, rather than McGregor and Khabib, it was former UFC light-heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, causing disruption.

An “abnormal” test result from December 9th meant the UFC had to move this weekend’s event from Las Vegas to Los Angeles in order for “Bones” to compete. Needless to say, fans and fighters alike were outraged.

Khabib, as he is now one to do, has spent some time ripping Dana White. Just check out his comment on White’s Instagram post, asking for the UFC boss to “legalise doping” in the UFC:

Khabib Nurmagomedov is a top level fighter and an elite superstar troll

Khabib Also Asked For A Hearing Move

Where this is personally related to Khabib is the Daniel Cormier connection. Jones, DC’s long-standing¬†rival, is competing for Cormier’s belt which he gives up to remain heavyweight champion.

Jones, of course, beat Cormier by head kick knockout at UFC 214 before again having the belt stripped due to a failed USADA test. This latest round of controversy just adds to their fierce rivalry. It also could completely cancel out any chance of a trilogy fight.

DC was crushed when their UFC 200 fight was canceled due to, you guessed it, Jones failing a drug test. He was equally devastated when “Bones” beat him, albeit overturned to a no-contest, so the chances of Cormier subjecting himself to that emotional rollercoaster again after Jones’ latest snafu are thin, at best.
