UFC 232 has concluded, Jon Jones regained his Light-Heavyweight Championship for the third time in his career. Amanda Nunes became the first woman to stop Cris Cyborg, making herself the first ever woman to be a double champ. However, the drama doesn’t stop there…

Jon Jones finished his opponent, Alexander Gustafsson in the third round of their long-awaited rematch. However, Gustafsson wasn’t the only fighter on Jones’ mind after the fight and by the time the mic was passed to him he knew who he wanted…

That man is, of course, Daniel Cormier, despite beating the man twice Jones wants him again. He had an interesting choice of words to throw at the Heavyweight Champion but these two hate each other, what did you expect?

Jon Jones captured the title again at UFC 232

“Daddy’s Home”

If you thought Jones would leave Daniel Cormier alone, then you don’t really know Jon Jones, do you?

The two obviously have a shared hatred for each other and heres what he said the second Heavyweight was mentioned to him…

“I know theres a guy whos been calling himself champ champ. I mean what guy just gives up his belt because somebody else made it home. Daddy’s home DC. Prove to the fans youre a champ champ. Come get a taste, i’m here ,come get your belt back, i’ll be waiting right here.”

With that, he concluded his Octagon interview. Cormier did watch UFC 232 as he tweeted this right after Jones’ win…

So, it seems the Cormier and Jones rivalry is yet to die. We could have a third fight on our hand’s ladies and gentlemen, except this time it could be at Heavyweight. Heavyweight is DC’s preferred¬†weight class so maybe he will be more comfortable up there.

Cormier has said in the past though, that if he has Jones again it will be at 205lbs. This way he feels he can redeem himself for his loss at that weight. Would you buy a Jones vs. Cormier 3?
