April 16th is going to be a big day for Kickboxing in Torino, Italy. Bellator and Oktagon are working together to bring you the first installment of Bellator Kickboxing, but Oktagon promoter Carlo Di Blasi has put together a great card for Victory World Series that will take place before Bellator Kickboxing.
Headlining Victory World Series will be a fight between Giorgio Petrosyan and Jordan Watson. This is a fight that fans will get excited for as both are two of the best in the world.
Petrosyan enters the bout on a five fight win streak. Widely considered the best Kickboxer in his weight class, Petrosyan has tasted defeat only twice in his career. He was last in action this past January for the WLF when he defeated Jiao Fukai by (T)KO.
Watson is primarily a Muay Thai practitioner, but has had success in Kickboxing. Before he meets Petrosyan he will have a big re-match against Sanny Dahlbeck at Yokkao 18 on March 19th. Watson has been in the ring with some of the best in the world like Buakaw and Sittichai Sitsongpeenong. He now gets to add another name to that list with Petrosyan.
