Eddie Bravo is well known through out the Jiu Jitsu world. He is the owner of 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu, friend of UFC commentator Joe Rogan, and considered one of the best Jiu Jitsu coaches around.
Bravo rose to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fame in 2003, when as a brown belt he took on Royler Gracie in the quarter-finals of the Abu-Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) Submission Wrestling World Championship. A heavy under dog entering the bout with Gracie, Bravo shocked the world. Apparently no one told Bravo about the old saying “Gracie’s don’t tap”.
