Lion Fight 41 is set to be headlined by Charlie Peters.
The event will take place on April 7, 2017, at the O2 Arena in London, England and will be a cross-promotion between Lion Fight Promotions and Muay Thai Grand Prix.
Peters will be fighting Saemapetch Fairtex, as he looks to build on what has been a stellar run as of late. Before dropping a decision to Eddy Nait Slimani last month, Peters had won eight consecutive fights. This included decision wins over Pakorn and Azize Hlali and a big tournament win at Enfusion Live Abu Dhabi where he scored three wins in one night, two of them by stoppage.
Peters has long been a standout of the UK Muay Thai scene and is considered one of the top welterweights in the UK along with Liam Harrison. A fight between the two fell through last year, but fans are keeping their fingers crossed that it happens this year.
Saempatech is one of the younger fighters from Fairtex. He was set to make his Lion Fight debut last year but visa issues kept it from happening. He has fought on promotions such as Kunlun Fight, All-Star Fight and Rebellion Muay Thai.
Lion Fight 41 will be the promotions second event in the UK, not the last. The promotion is planning on having Lion Fight 43 and 47 there as well.
The remainder of the fight card, as well as broadcast details, are currently unknown.
