5 bouts confirmed for Glory 27 Super Fight Series




Glory 27 Super Fight Series

Glory 27 has had the main card confirmed for a few weeks, but now the promotion has confirmed the non-televised super fight series portion of the event. A total of five bouts have been confirmed.

Heavyweight’s Anderson Silva and Maurice Greene will meet in the Super Fight Series. Silva will be looking to end a three fight losing streak in which all three losses have come by KO.

Karl Roberson will be making his Glory debut on the Super Fight Series, he will fight Canadian Joey George. Roberson came to to notoriety last year when he fought Jerome Le Banner. Roberson was robbed of a decision in a bout that seemed like clear favoritism for Le Banner. Roberson knocked down Le Banner and a slow count allowed for Le Banner to recover and eventually win a bad decision. Roberson now gets to show fans his skill set in his home country.

The remaining fights confirmed for the Super Fight Series are Casey Greene vs. Danny Morales Jr, Richard Abraham vs. Pawel Jedrzejczyk, and Demoreo Dennis vs. Guto Inocente.




Glory 27 takes place at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The main event for the night will feature a Artem Levin vs. Simon Marcus for the Glory Middleweight Championship.
