Yodsanklai Returns At Mas Fight This Weekend

Yodsanklai Mas Fight

Yodsanklai Fairtex will be back in action this upcoming Saturday, April 15 at Mas Fight in China.

Despite what the Mas Fight promotional poster above looks like, Yodsanklai will not be fighting Buakaw. He will be fighting Masoud Minaei of Iran. The reason Buakaw is on the poster is because he is supposed to be a special guest at the event. Yes, when we first saw the poster for Mas Fight we got our hopes up too. If you look closely you will notice that it doesn’t say vs. anywhere on the poster.

Yodsanklai has won his last 22 fights, with more than half of those wins coming by (T)KO. He has not lost since since November of 2011 when he dropped a decision to Artur Kyshenko.

Despite the tall task of fighting Yodsanklai, Minaei has been in the ring with some top opposition. He has fought both Sudsakorn Sor. Klinmee and Aegpracha Meenayothin in the past. He also holds wins over Marco Pique, and Maxim Spodarenko. This will undoubtedly be his toughest test to date.

There is a lot of money in China for Kickboxing, hopefully Mas Fight has the type of money to make the dream fight between Buakaw and Yosdanklai happen. Would love for it to be in Muay Thai, but would settle for Kickboxing. Until that happens we will settle for seeing Yodsanklai fight consistently in 2017 after not fighting in 2016 to recover from injuries.
