ONE Friday Fights 96 went down at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, and it was a night full of knockouts. 6 of the fights ended by way of KO or TKO, including the main event between Komawut FA Group and Panrit Lukajaomaesaiwaree.
Komawut and Panrit got right to it when their main event fight started. Both fighters came out swinging. Both found success in close with punches and low kicks, but Panrit was also able to connect with knees when they briefly clinched. When the second round started, Komawut came out pressing forward while taking some low kicks from Panrit. A right hand from Komawut dropped Panrit less than 20 seconds into the round. After the fight resumed, Komawut walked Panrit down against the ropes and unleashed a flurry of punches that put Panrit down for good.
In the co-main event, Singdomthong Nokjeanladkrabang invested in the body of Nuapet Tded99 early. Vicious punches to the body opened up strikes to the head which had Nuapet on ropes at the end of the first round. Singdomthong continued to punish Nuapet in the second round, but Nuapet refused to back down. Near the end of the round, a head kick from Singdomthong dropped Nuapet, but he was able to recover and make it out of the round. The third round was thrilling as both fighters came out swinging, but Singdomthong started to fade as Nuapet seemed to get stronger. It seemed like Nuapet had a chance at pulling off the comeback, but Singdomthong ultimately took home the unanimous decision win.
