Knockout of the Week: Michael McDonald vs. George Randolph

McDonald and Randolph had both won their previous bouts by KO to set up their semi-final meeting.

Randolph was a reserve in the tournament and had knocked out Kelly Leo in their reserve match. McDonald’s original opponent was going to be Aziz Khattou, but he was unable to continue in the tournament after winning his quarterfinal bout.

As soon as the fight between McDonald and Randolph started it was evident that McDonald was on a different level. He was faster and stronger and it took less than one minute for him to dispatch of Randolph. A left hook ended his night 55 seconds into the fight.
