In the main event of the Super Fight Series Glory newcomer Jamie Bates took on Chicago’s Richard Abraham.

After losing his previous bout by split decision it was clear that Abraham did not want this to go to the judges. From the opening bell he was aggressive, but unfortunately for him, Bates used his his height and length well. He used some great accuracy to score on Abraham with his strikes while staying out of danger. The judges awarded Bates a clear cut unanimous decision.

In the Super Fight Series co-main event, hometown favorite Mohammed El-Mir took home a unanimous decision against Simon Santana. The two (T)KO’s in the Super Fight Series came courtesy of Freddy Kemayo and Josh Jauncey. Kemayo stopped Imad Hadar with punches in the second round, while Jauncey opened a cut on Antonio Gomez with a massive knee. The doctor was forced to stop the fight.

In the night’s opening bout Yuhang Xie made a successful promotional debut. The 18 year old took home a unanimous decision against America’s Chris Mauceri.
