Bellator Kickboxing 5 is set to take place at the Pala Alpitour in Torino, Italy this Saturday, April 8, 2017.
The event will be headlined by Giorgio Petrosyan vs. Amansio Paraschiv.
Petrosyan’s last appearance for Bellator Kickboxing was an impressive (T)KO victory over Jordan Watson at Bellator Kickboxing 4. He has won eight consecutive fights and it seems a shot at the Bellator lightweight title should be around the corner if he can get past Paraschiv.
Paraschiv is the current SuperKombat middleweight champion. The majority of his recent bouts have been for SuperKombat, but he has also fought for promotions such as Enfusion and Kunlun Fight. His most recent fight was against Chris Ngimbi this past Decemebr, he won by unanimous decision.
In the co-main event Denise Kielholtz will be looking to make her first Bellator Kickboxing title defense against Martine Michieletto. She won the Bellator women’s flyweight title at Bellator Kickboxing 4 with a split decision over Gloria Peritore. Kielhotz is arguably the best female in Kickboxing at the moment. In addition to being a Bellator champion she also holds the Enfusion 57 kg women’s title.
Making their promotional debuts at Bellator Kickboxing 5 will be Australian legend John Wayne Parr, as well as rising young gun Gaston Bolanos.
Bellator Kickboxing 5 will are on Spike TV at 5 PM Eastern Time, 2 PM Pacific Time. It will be on a slight tape delay.
