K-1 has announced the full line up for their return event K-1 Rising. In addition to featuring the K-1 Max Final 16, the event is also expected to feature some great heavyweight super fights. Badr Hari will be making his return to the K-1 ring as he takes on Anderson Silva. Other big name heavyweights expected to be in action are Mirko Filipovic, Daniel Ghita and Paul Slowinski. A super fight between Mosab Amrani and Zeben Diaz is also expected to take place at the event.
The “new” K-1 has gotten many people excited with their tournament and the claims that they will be returning to the United States as well as their one million dollar grand prize to the K-1 World GP winner. Although time will tell if all of what has been stated actually occurs, for now the return of K-1 is set for May 27th in Madrid, Spain.
